Seedlings for Farms

We supply sustainably-grown organic seedlings to Victorian farms and market gardens. Our nursery opened in 2014 and has recently expanded to meet growing demand.

We endeavour to support growers wherever we can. As growers ourselves, we understand some of the pressures farmers and market gardeners face.

We work with seed suppliers (national and international) to continually expand our range and we always on the lookout for new organic and biodynamic varieties to trial in our market garden.

Our philosophy
KABUU is a social enterprise deeply committed to minimising our environmental impact. We don’t use finite, mined/manufactured resources like peat, perlite and vermiculite in our substrate. All our seedlings are grown in a mix of renewable compost and coconut fibre. When we source seeds our first preference is biodynamic and organic, then untreated. All varieties are non GMO.

Interested in mentoring young farmers?
The KABUU vision is “a vibrant sustainable environment where everyone has access to healthy and affordable fresh food grown within walking distance”. We support young farmers . If you are interested in shaping our food system please get in touch. We are helping Young farmers start their farming journey. If you are interested in sharing your experience please get in touch.
